What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants visitors and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings common areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe site activity greeting and directing visitors assisting with deliveries and helping to maintain orderly traffic and/or pedestrian flow.
• Document patrol activity incidents and service requests in written and/or electronic reports and communicate relevant updates during shift changes and/or as directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years law enforcement experience OR 2 years security supervisor/manager experience OR 3 years security experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
