Job Description Summary

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing excellent support to customers by responding to inquiries generating quotes and processing sales orders resolving issues and ensuring a positive customer experience. This role requires strong communication skills problem-solving abilities and a customer-first attitude.

Job Description

  • Provide Customer Service support to our customers and sales force via phone calls emails etc.
  • Generate quotes process orders and provide order status to customers.
  • Interact with internal / external customers to provide information response to inquiries about products and services.
  • Resolve customer complaints - escalate to Supervisor or additional departments when appropriate.
  • Handle and resolve questions / concerns including ERP related errors.
  • Manage maintain and update customer accounts.
  • Perform other customer service and sales related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications :

  • Customer service experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
  • Self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision.
  • Extremely thorough organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service and establishing contacts.
  • Ability to handle numerous projects at one time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop close professional relationships.
  • Office computer skills (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Some ERP experience (SAP experience a plus).

Additional Information :

The expected salary range for this position is between $27-$35/hr. In addition INFICON employees are eligible for a profit sharing bonus with a target of 10%.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience location and other factors permitted by law.
