Asst Director of Systems Infrastructure
The Assistant Director of Systems Infrastructure Services reporting to the Executive Director of Infrastructure and Technology provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for enterprise systems infrastructure. With 3 Information Technologist III/S reporting to this role this role leads the introduction and enhancement of technology initiatives setting direction and priorities in collaboration with diverse stakeholders to deliver sustainable highimpact services. The position oversees infrastructure operations to ensure systems reliability policy and procedure development and highquality project delivery aligned with organizational standards. The Assistant Director empowers and develops managers through coaching resource and workload management and oversight of planning budgeting and personnel actions. This role also maintains strong vendor partnerships to support hardware and software upgrades and operations while championing continuous learning innovation and career development for managers and staff.
Note: This role requires a hybrid schedule with at least two days a week in-person on the East Lansing MI campus.

Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program; more than eight years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience including at least three of the following: project management applications design and programming data center operations systems programming database administration office automation production analysis client computing consulting services financial management long range planning and data security; and management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
