Reporting to the Store Manager the Warranty Clerk is responsible for processing returns warranties and transfers. The objective of this role is to improve returns and warranties processing times accuracy and completion rates in effort to remove non-moving product ultimately allowing our stores to receive upgraded inventory & be first to market with the latest moving product.
This position pays between $18.65 and $20.95 per hour (depending on qualifications) plus benefits as of your first day paid time off and many other great benefits!
Your main responsibilities :
- Receive inspect and verify returns and warranties following the Companys guidelines within a defined time frame.
- Managing and maintaining accurate records for outgoing shipments transfers and transactions.
- Generating location spreadsheet including changes in ST to consolidate returns in the inventory.
- Will work closely with DC and vendors for transfers with Finance/Accounting for crediting and Sales Team regarding declined or disputed customer credits.
- Maintaining correspondence with customers branches and vendors and other duties relevant to the returns warranties and transfer process
- Working with branch teams and continuous improvement coordinator on other inventory initiatives within the region
- Improve returns warranties and transfer processing in terms of accuracy and time processing
Qualifications :
To join our team you need:
- Experience in the automotive aftermarket and/or parts supply industry combined with warehouse and/or retail experience is preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and delivery management software.
- Valid drivers license required.
- Ability to travel within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
