Job Summary
As a Sever at Toro Chicago by Richard Sandoval you are an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our food & beverage experience. Your warm personal attention and knowledge of our outstanding offerings make guests feel unique and valued.
Job Responsibilities:
- Consistently offer a professional friendly greeting and engaging service
- Exhibit sincere hospitality. Go above and beyond for the guest. Be obsessed with guest satisfaction.
- Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
- Understand shift end reports in the outlet and the Point of Sale System
- Understand all reservations systems and iPad systems for seating charts
- Have knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods
- Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions menu items and preparation methods
- Follow brand policies procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Follow hotel time and attendance policy
- Follow grooming and attire guidelines
- Must be available to work flexible shifts including AM PM evenings and weekends
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server in high volume food and beverage operation
- Knowledge of beer wine and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation
- Previous point of sale system experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Ability to speak read and write in English
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings afternoons nights weekdays weekends and holidays
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional kneeling pushing pulling lifting

Additional Information
Salary expectations: $13.66 tip eligible position.
