Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Hazel Crest IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients patients donors visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures location-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Help to monitor access to the healthcare facility verify identification and/or authorization as required and assist with visitor check-in and directions while maintaining a professional presence.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including medical emergencies disturbances and/or facility alarms and report information per location procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility parking areas and perimeter to help identify unusual activity hazards and/or policy violations and document findings as required.
- Complete written and/or electronic reports participate in shift briefings and communicate with location personnel and emergency services as needed to support security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card/license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
