About the Role:
The company is seeking a talented Sales Representative to focus on the promotion and sale of a liquid coating technology for granular fertilizers. The product enhances the physical quality of fertilizers by reducing dust preventing clumping improving fluidity and preserving nutrient efficiency. The initial focus of the role will be on this product with the opportunity to expand into other products within the portfolio as the companys commercial projects grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell the product to potential clients driving new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts in the Iowa region initially with the possibility of expanding to Illinois and South Dakota.
- Provide technical support and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Gather market insights and customer feedback to assist in product development and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the growth of the commercial portfolio by eventually selling other products such as multifunctional adjuvants and foliar fertilizers.
Qualifications:
- Proven sales experience preferably in technical or agricultural products.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Technical knowledge of fertilizers or related products is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
- Fluent in English Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
