Join a team thats building a cleaner futurelocally and globally.We are looking for a Civil Engineer to be part of the Engineering team in our Makati Office. This role will report to the Engineering Director and will have a regional scope which includes mainly Philippines but also Thailand and Vietnam.
The Civil Engineer will provide technical expertise and be responsible for the design planning and execution of civil and structural works in renewable energy projects (photovoltaic solar wind and other technologies) in Southeast Asian markets. The position ensures that civil infrastructure including access roads foundations drainage and platforms is designed and implemented according to technical quality safety and environmental standards throughout the full project lifecycle; from early-stage development and internal investment evaluation through construction commissioning and operation.
Job Description
- Design and review detailed civil designs for wind and solar projects including access roads platforms drainage systems and earthworks.
- Perform hydrological and hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and coordinated project execution (both with the local team and with the headquarters in Spain).
- Support permitting processes by preparing or reviewing technical documentation and responding to regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and/or review technical documentation for procurement and construction phases.
- Conduct site visits to assess terrain validate designs and support construction and commissioning activities.
- Optimize civil designs to improve cost efficiency constructability and environmental performance.
- Contribute to internal investment reports by providing technical input for civil works.
- Supervise civil contractors and monitor compliance with quality safety and sustainability standards.
- Evaluate technical risks and propose mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations international standards and corporate engineering guideline
Required Skills and Competencies
- Renewable energy experience
- Civil Engineering Degree
- At least 5 years of related professional experience
