Location: Brooklyn New York
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
Shift: Nights 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $76.67

  • Total Weekly Gross: $2875.13

  • Weekly Stipend: $1750.13

Position Overview

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality rapid-response care in a fast-paced high-acuity emergency department setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment triage expertise and the ability to perform under pressure while delivering compassionate care to patients and families.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience

  • IV insertion skills

  • Phlebotomy experience

  • Experience with conscious sedation

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform rapid patient assessments and triage

  • Stabilize patients with life-threatening conditions

  • Administer medications and initiate IV therapy

  • Perform wound care and assist with emergency procedures

  • Monitor and document vital signs and patient status

  • Assist physicians during emergency interventions

  • Accurately chart all assessments and treatments

  • Provide emotional support to patients and families

  • Deliver care in high-pressure and unpredictable situations
