Location: Brooklyn New York
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
Shift: Nights 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $76.67
Total Weekly Gross: $2875.13
Weekly Stipend: $1750.13
Position Overview
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality rapid-response care in a fast-paced high-acuity emergency department setting. This role requires strong clinical judgment triage expertise and the ability to perform under pressure while delivering compassionate care to patients and families.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
IV insertion skills
Phlebotomy experience
Experience with conscious sedation
Key Responsibilities
Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
Stabilize patients with life-threatening conditions
Administer medications and initiate IV therapy
Perform wound care and assist with emergency procedures
Monitor and document vital signs and patient status
Assist physicians during emergency interventions
Accurately chart all assessments and treatments
Provide emotional support to patients and families
Deliver care in high-pressure and unpredictable situations
