General Dynamics Mission Systems is actively seeking a Test Engineer for our Secure Network and Voice Product Development Team. This position is critical for advancing our automated testing capabilities requiring collaboration within an agile team to convert operational concepts into practical designs and implementations. The role entails transforming existing design and new specifications into design coding and conducting testing and debugging.

What you bring to the table:

Strong knowledge of a scripting language preferably Python.
Proficient knowledge of software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE) version control defect reporting and scripting
Ability to turn concepts specifications or requirements into design and code.
Experience with testing and debugging.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.

Target salary range: USD $103461.00/Yr. - USD $110000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is fill
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related Science Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2 years of job-related experience or a Masters degree and 6 months of job-related experience.

Clearance Requirements:
Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities U.S. citizenship is required.
