Come work as Neurologist with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)!
The position is for In-patient epilepsy service including:
- Seizure Investigation unit calls including scalp and intracranial video-EEG monitoring and bedside cortical mapping.
- After hour EEG and long term EEG monitoring calls.
- Epilepsy inpatient consult service.
- Routine and inpatient routine sleep deprived and prolong EEG readings.
- Intra-operative electrocorticography and cortical mapping.
- Education of epilepsy fellows neurology residents medical students and nursing staff.
- Participation and presenting in our clinical and educational rounds.
- Intracarotid anesthesia for Language and memory lateralization (Wada test). This is a team work including epileptologist anesthesiologist neuroradiologist and neuropsychologist.
Locum date range: March 1 2026 to May 3 2027
Qualifications
Education Licensing & Experience:
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) Full
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - Mandatory
