Job Summary

About the Role

Joining ourLifestyles (home care support) team you willprovide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their own homes and accessing the community with travel between clients and working short split shifts required. To provide the best support you will have experience in personal care and community access.

To be considered for a role you must be able to commit to a variety of client session times (from 2 hours in length) between 7am and 10pm from Richmond to Glossodia and have permanent part time and casual roles available. You will be reimbursed 0.99 cents per kilometre travelled between client sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assistance with daily living including personal care
  • Community access and transport assistance
  • Domestic assistance (support with household chores)
  • Maintain and monitor person-centred plans
  • Documenting and progress note keeping

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience supporting people with disabilityin a home care and community setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confidence and experience in manual handling and providing personal care
  • Australian Drivers Licence and reliable insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Willing to complete basic household chores
  • Passionate about delivering Person-Centred care
