Role: Cleaner Supervisor (6 month FTC)
Working hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week (05:00 - 13:30)
Location: Technology Centre Ratcliffe on Soar Nottingham NG11 0EE
Located 10 minutes walk from East Midlands Parkway station. Free parking subsidised on-site catering and complimentary gym facilities are available to all staff.
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Working Cleaner Supervisor to lead our morning cleaning team. This hands-on role combines supervisory responsibilities with active cleaning duties ensuring exceptional standards across all areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the morning cleaning team
- Conduct quality checks and inspections
- Assign daily tasks and coordinate work schedules
- Perform cleaning duties including vacuuming mopping and sanitizing
- Train new cleaning staff and provide ongoing guidance
- Monitor cleaning supply inventory and equipment maintenance
- Ensure health and safety compliance
- Report maintenance issues and incidents to management
- Complete daily/weekly cleaning reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years cleaning experience with supervisory background
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Reliable early morning availability
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage a team
- Physical fitness for cleaning and supervisory duties
