Georgie Dansey MP is looking for an MP Support Advisor to join their team Hamilton for 30 hours per week. This is a wide and varied position providing community engagementand constituent services. Youll be providing information and support to constituents helping your MP engage with the community and supporting your MPs activities in the community. The ability to build strong and trusted relationships is key to being successful in this role.

Youll need to have strong relationship management and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work with a diverse range of people and organisations. Youll work remotely and be a key player in the MPs support team with regular contact with the wider Labour team in Parliament. Previous experience working in an Electorate and Community Office or within Parliament would be highly advantageous.

You have a high level of empathy and cultural sensitivity and no matter who youre engaging with you leave them feeling supported and valued. The pay band for the role starts at $74270 per annum and appointments will be based on skills and experience. All employees who work for MPs are employed on an events-based agreement with your employment linked to your MP. This role is based Hamilton for 30 hours per week.
