Job Summary

Job Purpose

Support matching event onsite (PCF/ECF/Cubing/short Loop/Slow Build)
Support the issue investigation during matching event and launch phase
Support parts collection for the matching event
Support the issue management for the matching event

Main task:

PCF:

Familiar with body process and support the parts assembly during PCF event
Good at using the measurement equipment and responsible for the measurement of parts and assemble
Familiar with PCF event and can support the investigation of single parts and assy during launch phase
Good at issue management and CFT communication

ECF:

Familiar with closure process/HOP process and some exterior parts and support the closure adjustment to matching with different datum during ECF event
Good at using the measurement equipment and responsible for the measurement of parts and assemble
Familiar with ECF event and can support the investigate of q-loop closures during launch phase
Good at issue management and CFT communication

Cubing

Familiar with Trim parts assemble process and support the parts assemble in Cubing event
Good at using the measurement equipment and responsible for the measurement of parts
Familiar with Cubing event and can support the investigate of q-loop parts during launch phase
Familiar with location strategy for some critical area
Good at issue management and CFT communication

Short Loop & Slow Build

Familiar with fixture structure and design role
Support site buy off for the fixture
Support the slow build on site
Support the short loop activity

Qualifications :

Education:

Minimum: College degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering discipline
Desirable: BSc

Skills & Competencies:

Experience for matching event (PCF/ECF/Cubing/short Loop/Slow Build)
Familiar with measurement equipment (Prob Arm/Laser Tracker)
Familiar with CF calibration and adjustment
Basic knowledge for DMI and can support dimension issue investigate
Good at issue management and cross function team communication

Minimum Experience:

3-5 years within an established OEM involved with at least 2 models matching event
Understanding of matching process

Additional Information :

Good at process variation analysis
Good at dimension chain
Basic knowledge about the dimension

Mandatory experience:

Please note we are looking for hands-on technician who should be able to operate Leica laser tracker portable CMM (Faro/Romer arm) should have real life experience in measuring fixtures parts OEM shop floor.
