As a Security Officer - Bike Patrolin Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling commercial real estate location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas on foot and by bike remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols responding to calls for service and delivering exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while representing Allied Universal.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Document observations and incidents according to company and site requirements.
• Communicate professionally with property management tenants and visitors to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
• Remain alert to surroundings and monitor entrances exits and other key areas within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
