The Role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving new business growth. Reporting into the Revenue Management team the SDR is responsible for lead generation prospect outreach meeting coordination and sales system documentation.


This role is ideal for someone who thrives on prospecting enjoys building relationships from the ground up and is motivated by achieving measurable results.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify prospect and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound outreach and strategic lead generation
  • Maintain and manage prospects within the CRM system ensuring accurate and detailed documentation
  • Convert qualified opportunities into booked meetings for the Business Development Manager
  • Prepare client profiles and meeting documentation to support successful sales conversations
  • Track weekly performance metrics and contribute to quarterly reporting and forecasting
  • Document sales processes and contribute to the ongoing development of Metrics sales playbook
  • Represent Metric Marketing professionally in all client interactions


Qualifications

  • 25 years of direct sales experience with demonstrated success meeting targets
  • Proven experience in cold calling prospecting and outbound sales
  • Post-secondary education in Business or a related field preferred
  • Experience in marketing or agency environments considered an asset
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms is an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
