The Opportunity

Black Cat Civil have an opportunity for an experienced Civil Plant operator for a road maintenance project located outside Blackwater QLD.

The opportunity suits applicants residing in Blackwater or within a 200km radius of the town.

Requirements of the Role

Operation of flow-con machine to perform maintenance activities across sealed road network including cracking edge break pothole repair and pre-sealing maintenance.
Operation of various civil plant: Skid steer Excavator HR truck
Float movements on site
Operate all plant tools implements or equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions (with appropriate protective clothing)
Work overtime on 7/7 roster basis.
Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with Work Health and Safety policies procedures and safe work practices.

Candidate skills & experience

These opportunities are ideal for experienced reliable operators keen for long-term work for a growing contractor on a variety of rosters including local work when possible.

Minimum 3yrs road maintenance and flow-con experience
MC Licence
Previous experience across a variety of infrastructure projects including roads highways resources and rail.
Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Current tickets and licenses (RII qualification)
