We are seeking a Mechanical Draughtsman / CAD Designer with proven experience in the military vehicle industry (armored vehicles tactical platforms military components) to support detailed design and technical drawing deliverables.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Mechanical Draughtsman / CAD Designer with proven experience in the military vehicle industry (armored vehicles tactical platforms military components) to support detailed design and technical drawing deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Produce technical design drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.
Develop detail layout and manufacturing drawings for parts and assemblies.
Support design modelling and animations (assemblies sheet metal machined parts weldments).
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure technical information flows during prototyping and production.
Assist the design team specifically in the military vehicle / armored vehicle field.

Minimum Requirements

Professional drafting credential or Mechanical Engineering Diploma/drawings qualification preferred.
Experience in detailed mechanical design/draughting.
Solid experience with CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks CATIA Creo).
Experience drafting mechanical parts assemblies sheet metal and manufacturing drawings.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering standards.
