Job Summary

Overview

Consider joining the Pennex family as an Engineering Coordinator in our Leetonia OH location. The EngineeringDataCoordinatorisresponsible forcoordinatingvalidating andmaintainingengineering data used to supportaccuratequoting and manufacturing execution.This position owns the creation and maintenance of product master data withinan Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP)System (Microsoft Dynamics 365 D-365) including bills of materials (BOMs) and routings and ensures that engineering costing and operational inputs are complete accurate and aligned for new and existing products.

Responsibilities

Engineering Data & D365 Master Data Management

  • Createsmaintains andvalidatesproduct master data within the ERP including but not limited to:
    • Bills of Materials (BOMs)
    • Routings and operation sequences
    • Work centers and labor standards
  • Ensuresaccuracy consistency and proper structure of engineering and manufacturing data across the ERP and supporting documentation.
  • Processes andmaintainsengineering changes affecting product structureroutings andcostimpactingdata in ERP.
  • Serves as asubject matterresource forengineering relatedmaster data within the ERP.

Costing & Quotation Support

  • Coordinates the collection of engineering inputs required to supportaccuratenew productquotations.
  • Ensures BOMs routings and labor standardsin the ERPsupportreliable cost rollups.
  • Partners with Engineering Manufacturing and Finance to resolve data gaps or discrepancies affecting cost and quote accuracy.
  • Supports standard costing updates and costing assumptions as.

Cross FunctionalCoordination

  • Acts as a liaison between Engineering Sales Manufacturing Supply Chain and Finance to ensuretimelyandaccuratedata for quoting and production readiness.
  • Supports new product introduction (NPI) activities by preparing andvalidatingrequired ERP master data prior to release.
  • Responds to internal requests related to product structure costingroutings and manufacturing feasibility.

Data Governance and Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain data quality standards and best practices for engineering and manufacturing master data within the ERP system.
  • Identifiesopportunities to improve data accuracy efficiency and workflow related to ERP processes.
  • Supports audits reporting and documentation related to engineering data costing and ERP master data governance.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associates degree in a technical field(Engineering Technology Business Management or related)is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent is

Experience:

  • Two or more yearsofexperience using an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.MicrosoftDynamics365 is preferred
  • Working knowledge of BOMsroutings andmanufacturing processesand product costing fundamentals
