What youll be doing

As the Director Marketing Activation Pods you will be at the forefront of CIBCs marketing transformationleading two high-performing cross-functional pods focused on delivering personalized data-driven marketing campaigns and experiences. Youll champion agile methodologies foster innovation and help design a scalable model for future ways of working within the Marketing organization.

Reporting to the Senior Director Marketing Modernization you will collaborate with technology product data and creative partners to accelerate the delivery of omni-channel marketing initiatives. Your leadership will ensure seamless activation of client campaigns ongoing process improvement and the evolution of agile marketing practices across the bank.

How youll succeed

  • Pod Leadership & Delivery: Lead coach and inspire two agile marketing pods responsible for the end-to-end activation of client journeys and campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Marketing Modernization: Drive the adoption of innovative marketing technologies processes and tools to enhance personalization automation and measurement.
  • Agile Ways of Working: Embed agile principles and rituals (PI planning standups retrospectives continuous improvement) to maximize team velocity transparency and impact.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product technology data science and creative teams to deliver integrated marketing solutions aligned with business priorities.
  • Scalable Model Development: Help design and implement a scalable operating model for marketing activation pods supporting future expansion and continuous improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and lead improvements to campaign execution content supply chain and measurement processes leveraging data and analytics to inform decision-making.
  • Innovation & Experimentation: Foster a culture of rapid testing learning and iterationencouraging pods to pilot new approaches and scale what works.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build trust and alignment with key stakeholders ensuring transparency accountability and shared success metrics.
