Augusta Health is seeking a FT patient care technician
- Under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse performs various duties assisting unit staff nurses and clerical specialists to ensure efficient unit operations and safe patient care following established procedures.
- Includes bathing dressing and feeding of patients performing vital signs phlebotomy and Ekgs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Educational requirements per hospital certifications (Example: Stroke Orthopedic/Spine).
- Active Virginia State Board of Nursing CNA license OR Currently enrolled in an accredited RN program and have completed the first semester of clinical rotations OR Enrollment in and successful completion of Augusta Healths in-house Patient Care Tech (PCT) program upon hire.
- Basic Life Support - BLS
