Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist opportunity in Mesa Arizona

An excellent full-time opportunity is available for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Adult Psychiatrist to join an adult inpatient behavioral health program in Mesa Arizona.

This position is based at a behavioral health center and focuses on the care of hospitalized seriously mentally ill adults. The ideal candidate is passionate about serving high-acuity patients in a structured inpatient setting.

Practice Highlights

Adult inpatient psychiatry
Average caseload of 910 patients
Average length of stay: approximately 22 days
Majority involuntary patient population
Collaborative multidisciplinary treatment team
Academic & Teaching Opportunities

Active participation in resident and medical student education is an integral part of the position.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Arizona medical license (required prior to start date)
