Job Title:Transfer Coordinator
Retirees of the Texas Teachers Retirement System (TRS) may apply.Consistent with district policy SD-7.17 Employment of Retirees selected applicants are responsible for reimbursing the district through payroll deduction for the current rate of all TRS pension or TRS Care surcharges. As of September 1 2025 the TRS pension surcharge rate is 16.5% and the TRS Care surcharge is $535/month.

Pay Group:S35 Salary Plan
Primary Purpose:Perform complex work involving resident/student campus transfers to facilitate educational programming.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma from an accredited high school or high school equivalency certificate
Five years full-time wage-earning general clerical secretarial or administrative support experience.
Type 45 net words per minute with no more than 10 errors on the appropriate Texas Workforce Commission or TDCJ typing test; a minimum of 55 net words per minute with no more than 10 errors is preferred.
This position requires personal technology that will enable the completion of job duties and responsibilities when working remotely.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Skill to develop organize and maintain automated files data and correspondence.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret and apply rules policies and procedures.
Skill in the use of computers and peripheral equipment.
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
the district Transfer Request Manager program.
the district Career and Technical Education resident wait list.
prospective Career and Technical Education students and facilitate transfers as appropriate.
prospective residents for participation in high school programs and facilitate transfers as appropriate.
prospective residents for participation in the Family Literacy program and facilitate transfers as appropriate.
resident/student transfers as appropriate to serve special education requirements.
and facilitate any other resident/student transfers as appropriate for academic career and technical life-skills or other programming as necessary to serve student needs.
to inquiries regarding resident/student transfers.
as the district liaison with TDCJ State Classification Committee regarding resident/student transfers coordinating transfers and addressing issues resulting from movement of residents/students.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
