What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents service requests and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices common areas and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor access points and lobby or reception areas as assigned verifying identification and/or visitor credentials issuing visitor access badges and directing guests according to site procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports use communication systems to relay updates and support site operations by reporting hazards suspicious behavior and/or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
