As a Security Officer - Patient Wing Patrol in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy healthcare location you will make routine rounds remain highly visible and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting patients visitors and staff with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations using a computer or tablet and respond to issues with calm professionalism. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and requests for assistance in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with hospital staff and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas entrances parking lots and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Help manage access by monitoring entry points checking credentials when required and directing visitors to appropriate areas in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Document patrols incidents and unusual activity in written reports and logs and communicate observations promptly to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
