Job Summary
Job Summary
- Assist with loading unloading picking packing and moving goods in a warehouse environment.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules work orders operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Utilize basic computer skills and/or demonstrate technical aptitude to learn warehouse management systems (preferred: MS Office Vista Control SX.e Prophet 21)
- Perform basic mathematical calculations (addition subtraction multiplication division fractions decimals)
- Communicate effectively and provide strong customer service
- Work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate self-motivation to accomplish tasks and goals
- Maintain attention to detail and adhere to safety protocols
- Wear required protective equipment and potentially pass warehouse equipment certifications
- Adapt to varying work shifts including possible overtime extended hours and weekends with little notice
- Perform physical tasks including lifting (up to 25 lbs or more with assistance) standing walking bending kneeling crouching crawling climbing and balancing
- Maintain required vision standards to perform job functions
- Work assigned 1st shift (Mon-Fri start time between 6am-8am) with occasional overtime
- Position is temp-to-hire
