About the position
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for the purchasing of goods materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met considering price quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply.
Your main responsibilities
- Purchasing: Acquire goods materials components and services that meet cost quality and delivery targets.
- Cross-Department Support: Collaborate with other departments communicate supply issues and act as a liaison between suppliers and internal teams.
- Cost Analysis & Improvement: Analyse costs identify savings opportunities and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
- Contract Management: Negotiate review and manage supplier contracts to secure favourable terms and ensure compliance.
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong professional supplier relationships ensuring consistency and reliability.
- Research & Evaluation: Source new suppliers and stock assess supplier performance and contribute to reviews.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve supplier-related problems such as pricing quality delivery or invoicing.
