DescriptionThe Role
- Participate with Placement Leaders to conduct overall the placement strategy for the SME portfolio
- Should be recognized by others as a technical advisor in their field
- Stimulate revenue growth and meet business objectives by placing new business improving retention rates increasing commission rates and utilizing Group resources
- Market new business opportunities and secure coverage according to the local and regional plans and to meet client needs
- Review renewal business for adequacy of coverage and competitive rates following the SME guidelines
- Negotiate terms for SME accounts and provide expertise for difficult to place business that falls into the exceptions of the SME structured solutions
- Support nationally based market relationships
- Create enhance and maintain effective relationships with carriers clients placement team and resolve conflicts as needed

QualificationsThe Requirements
Ability to prepare multiple comparisons of proposals accurately and with agility
Highly proficient in Excel Power Point and AI to support everyday work
Ability to provide expert in depth advice to client
Advanced technical knowledge of P&C insurance contracts/structure
Knowledge and understanding of SME marketplace
Basic business English required
Previous experience with structured solutions for SME portfolio a plus
4 years insurance experience.
