Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

The SeniorIA Policy and Compliance Certified Professionalis expected to be able to accomplish the following:

  • Capabilities reflecta strong foundationin Federal laws and regulations governing information security / privacy and information assurance and a working knowledge of the security standards and controlsutilizedby Federal civilian agencies the DoD and the Intelligence Community.
  • Manages and directs the implementation testing and validation of physicaltechnicaland administrative security requirements andassistsin the design of a strong security operations program and an effective business continuity plan.
  • Evaluatesprograms againstthe PrivacyAct HIPAA/HITECH Federal and commercialregulationsand guidance (e.g. NIST FISMA OMB).
  • Maymonitor evaluate andmaintainsystems and procedures to protect data systems and databases from unauthorized users.
  • Determinesand researches thecauses of security breachestorecommendandimplementchanges to procedures to protect data from future violations.
  • Assistsin educating users on security procedures. Maintains one or more of the following professional certifications: CISM CIPA CISSP or GSLC.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • ActiveTS/SCI CI Poly clearance
  • BS 12-15 years of relevant experience; MS 10-13 years; PhD 10 years
  • Maintains one or more of the following professional certifications:
    • CISSP
    • CAP
    • CRISC or CISA
    • or CIPP/G

We are seekingaSeniorIA Policy and Compliance Certified Professionalto join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agencys Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III).TheIA Policy and Compliance Certified Professionalprovides programmatic consultation in support of information systems and networks and the confidentiality integrity availability authenticity and non-repudiation of the data being assembled processed transmitted and stored and assessing privacy governance methodology conditions and in implementing a program that can be applied to discrete privacy tasks or to managing privacy and sensitive data at the enterprise level.

  • Work schedule: Normal work hours constitute on average 8 hours a day40 hoursper week (excluding breaks and meal periods) within standard operational hours occurring 0600-1800 Monday-Friday excluding Federal holidays. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
  • Amount of Travel: 20%
