Job Summary
As a IT Security officer you will contribute to BMG becoming the bank which provides top notch services and products for our customers in Netting and Cash Pool. Together with your colleague engineers you will make sure our top notch client software is secure and compliant.
The team
Bank Mendes Gans is part of ING and is the only bank in the world to engage exclusively in liquidity and information management solutions for Fortune 500 multinationals. We operate a bank-independent model and we handle most of the worlds convertible currencies.
We dont compete with the clients local banks - we cooperate with them. We work multi-currency multi-country and multi-bank. This allows for a smooth implementation of your liquidity management strategy. Especially if the company has decentralized management subsidiaries in different countries different legal and tax regimes and a large number of bank accounts bank relationships and banking systems. As we offer overlay solutions on top of existing local bank infrastructure there is no need to change banks.
Role and responsibilities
Providing IT security advisory and guidance to DevOps teams involved in development & IT operations .
Some examples of what you will be doing and your responsibilities are:
- Understand IT risk and security requirements to set specifications fortesting and reporting
- Connect to and advice/guide teams with respect to penetration testing and solving issues
- Connect to and advice/guide teams in static and dynamic code checking (SDLC) and solving issues
- Advice/guide teams to secure the CI/CD pipelines and the tooling used
- Communicating with the stakeholders to analyse and understand the need and design the solution accordingly.
For the IT Security officer this is what we look for in candidates:
- 5-10 years or more (preferably in Software company or Financial institution) in an IT security role
- Experienced in coding or at least secure code review and remediation
- Understanding of network and web related protocols (such as TCP/IP UDP IPSEC HTTP HTTPS protocols).
- Understanding of typical security vulnerabilities and how to remediate them (for example OWASP top 10)
- Familiar with ISO2700x NIST ISF CIS and similar frameworks
- Relevant security certifications (2 SSCP/CISSP CompTIA Security EC-Council CEH)
- Experience with Checkmarx or similar secure code tooling
- Strong pré: ING and/or BMG experience.
