Full time 80 hours/Biweekly

Monday - Friday 7:00am 3:30pm

Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required

Starting pay rate: $17.25/hr & pay for experience

General Summary

Performs a variety of tasks to support the system-wide mission of Logistics and Distribution including but not limited to issuing supplies maintaining inventories and compiling stock records receiving preparing items for shipment and/or return to vendor etc..



Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Moves/handles items such as supplies linen mail print products equipment etc..
  • Performs a variety of activities such as receiving storing cleaning issuing counting shipping and ordering of supplies and equipment. Complies with US Postal Service Regulations.
  • Works to meet customer expectations - right stuff right place right time right condition right quantity right price.
  • Works in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Supports the capture and reporting of Key Performance Indicators/Measures that drive Continuous Improvement.
  • Works with managers supervisors technicians warehouses mail services print providers couriers.
  • Stocks vendor deliveries in designated areas.
  • Receives requests for items selects from inventory loads distribution vehicles and distributes to designated areas.
  • Delivers items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
  • Inventories user storage areas and replenishes inventory or par levels.
  • Prepares routine inventory reports and maintains records of in-house and on-order supplies.
  • Supports periodic and special inventories. Participates in year-end inventories in cooperation with the Controller.
  • Investigates discrepancies and reconciles. Monitors expiration dates. Processes inventory returns.

  • Maintains established policies and procedures objectives quality assessment and safety standards.
  • Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
  • Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
  • Marks inventory articles with identification codes as needed.
  • Maintains appropriate records reports and files as required.
