Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Painter to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for preparing and applying paint to interior and exterior surfaces delivering high-quality finishes that align with company standards and are completed within established timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Complete painting work orders within designated timelines including apartment turnovers
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping sanding patching caulking priming and repairing drywall or surface imperfections
- Ensure all necessary repairs to drywall doors frames and related hardware are completed prior to painting; coordinate with vendors as needed
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces including walls ceilings doors trim and common areas in accordance with company standards
- Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality finishes that meet safety and performance standards
- Maintain tools equipment and clean safe work areas at all times
- Document completed work and materials used as directed
- Participate in ongoing technical safety and operational training programs
- Travel between multiple properties as needed
Qualifications :
- Minimum 1-3 years of professional painting experience (residential or multi-family) - Preferred
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation - Preferred
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and painting methods
- Familiarity with painting tools sprayers rollers and related equipment
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Willingness to learn new trades and become cross trained when needed
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet turnover deadlines
- Ability to work independently and problem-solve efficiently
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Additional Information :
Location: Waikiki HI
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 hourly
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm; on call as needed)
