Working under the guidance of Senior Drafters and Engineers this role is well suited to someone looking to further develop their technical capability within a collaborative professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise closely with Project Managers Engineers and Design teams to produce drawings delivered on time on budget and to client specifications
- Prepare and review drawings to ensure compliance with drafting standards and specifications
- Present drawings to internal teams clients and consultants and prepare amendments as required
- Provide technical drafting input and contribute to design on a variety of civil and urban development projects
- Utilise Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) systems effectively (AutoCAD / Revit)
- Assist with Bills of Quantities for subdivisional infrastructure ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Work with statutory authorities and comply with council and regulatory standards
- Maintain high-quality documentation in line with Egis quality management systems
- Support project documentation and undertake administrative tasks related to drawing production
- Build positive working relationships and contribute to a collaborative team culture
Qualifications :
- 24 years experience in a drafting role or related field
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or other relevant tertiary qualification
- Sound understanding of drafting principles and civil design documentation
- Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Experience working within a quality management system
