Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional non-functional and compliance requirements coding solutions unit testing and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear robust and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data application business) in design and development of client requirements
  • Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
  • Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
  • Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
  • Contributes to existing test suites (integration regression performance) analyze test reports identify any test issues/errors and triage the underlying cause
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Design develop and maintain Java/J2EEbased middleware applications supporting missioncritical functions in the Payments and Transfers domain.
  • Build and enhance RESTful web services using Spring Core Spring Boot Spring Cloud Hibernate and related frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers Architects QA teams and crossfunctional technology partners to deliver highquality technical solutions.
  • Perform unit testing with frameworks such as JUnit Mockito or Powermock ensuring strong code quality and system stability.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues identify root causes and provide effective timely solutions across application integration and middleware components.
  • Interact with stakeholders at all levels clearly communicating technical concepts project updates and solution recommendations.
  • Leverage monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace to ensure application health stability and performance.
  • Work with relational databases SQL messaging technologies (IBM MQ Kafka) and Oracle systems when designing and integrating enterprise solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience designing and developing RESTful services using Java J2EE Spring Core Spring Boot Spring Cloud Hibernate and JBoss.
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit Mockito or Powermock
  • Proficient in DevOps tools : Eclipse Git/BitBucket Maven Jenkins SonarQube
  • Good understanding of application design patterns and Object oriented programming
  • Great communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent problem-solving skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experienced with relational databases and SQL scripting
  • Experienced in monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace
  • Experienced in MQ Microservices Oracle KAFKA
