Job Summary
Role Overview
The Property Accountant manages full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of mixed-use properties including financial reporting billing and expense management. This role provides hands-on experience across retail commercial residential and hospitality assets within a collaborative onsite environment. The position offers strong growth potential and exposure to diverse property accounting operations.

Requires in-office attendance five days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple retail and office properties
- Perform month-end and year-end close including financial statement preparation
- Ensure timely payment of mortgages property taxes insurance and utilities
- Prepare CAM (Common Area Maintenance) water and percentage rent billings
- Support accounting operations and team initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 13 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger processes (accruals prepaids reconciliations)
- Experience with M3 Sage or similar accounting/ERP systems preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
