Coordinate the flow of production folders orders plates samples standards and ink requirements to equipment. Lead Person will not be assigned to any one machine but will be able to fill for call-ins and vacations as Functions:Provide training for new and existing employees to maintain current knowledge relative to production and quality standardsAssist Process Improvement Supervisor in adjusting Crew schedulesReport personnel issues to supervisorProactively promotes open exchanges of information and communication with the departmentMonitor safety production speeds and qualityAssist with any change-oversAssist in finding information on specific ordersAssist with prioritizing maintenance issues and resolutionsAssist during set-ups clean-ups color-matchingPlate mounting as neededApply lean concepts and 5s within the departmentKnow and/or learn how to operate all equipment in assigned areaFollow all safety practicesResponsible to report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate actionPerform other duties as Qualifications:Factory experience preferred but not a requirementQualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalentAbility to do basic math skillsAbility to read & comprehend instructions memos specifications safety rules operating maintenance instructions and procedure manualsPossess excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing (Ability to read & comprehend simple instructions short memos specifications documents such as safety rules operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals)Self-motivated and ability to work both independently and as part of a team#GMSP139
