Position Overview
The Interventional Radiology Technologist provides advanced imaging and procedural support in a fast-paced interventional setting. This role is responsible for assisting physicians during minimally invasive image-guided procedures while ensuring patient safety procedural efficiency and high-quality imaging standards.
Schedule Details
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures
Prepare and position patients for imaging and procedures
Operate fluoroscopy and other radiologic equipment
Maintain sterile field and adhere to procedural protocols
Monitor patient condition during procedures
Ensure proper documentation of imaging and procedural data
Collaborate with nursing and procedural staff
Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled
Required Qualifications
Active state Radiologic Technologist license (if applicable)
ARRT certification (preferred/required per facility standards)
BLS certification
Prior Interventional Radiology experience
Ability to take weeknight and weekend call
