Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex - Logistics Sitein Hodgkins IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients employees drivers and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Screen people vehicles and/or property entering and exiting the logistics and distribution location which may include verifying credentials checking identification and conducting bag package and/or metal detection screening per post orders.
- Control access points by monitoring entry lanes doors and screening equipment documenting activity and escalating irregularities according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and time-sensitive situations in a calm problem-solving manner including notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards unsecured areas and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
