Job Description
As a Security Guard - Property Walking Patrol in Atlanta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service. You will document observations and share timely updates with site contacts while working as part of a team that is agile reliable and innovative and always acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants employees contractors and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through the appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of lobbies corridors parking areas loading areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization managing visitor and contractor sign-in and directing guests to the proper location.
- Complete required security-related reports and shift logs documenting patrols incidents and maintenance concerns and communicate updates to on-site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
