Pay:$19.75 per hour
Job Type / Schedule: Temp-to-Hire 1st Shift 6:45 AM 3:30 PM Overtime and weekends required
Pronto Staffing is seeking a motivated trainee to join a fast-paced production team in a local manufacturing facility.
Job Summary
This is an entry-level role where you will learn to set up and run production machinery. You will work with a team to keep the assembly line moving safely and efficiently. This position is perfect for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys hands-on work.
Responsibilities
Set up start and shut down production machinery
Change out equipment parts and film as needed
Fix minor machine issues and follow all safety rules
Work closely with a team to meet daily production goals
Keep the work area clean and follow safety procedures
Requirements
Must be bilingual (English and Spanish)
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and overtime
Up to one month of related experience or training is helpful
Willingness to learn how to troubleshoot and assemble equipment
Must be able to follow strict safety and Lockout/Tagout rules
Work Environment
Must be comfortable working in a very cold environment (below 40F)
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent bending twisting and reaching in a wet or humid setting
Requires wearing steel-toe boots jeans and a T-shirt
