Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with internal quality management systems and applicable standards (e.g. ISO 9001 ISO 45001 customer-specific requirements).
- Develop implement and maintain quality plans control plans and inspection criteria across wafer fabrication assembly and test processes.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCA CAPA) for internal defects customer complaints and audit findings using structured problem-solving tools (8D 5-Why Fishbone).
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics such as yield defect density DPPM scrap and rework; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) process qualification and change management activities (ECN/MCO) to ensure quality readiness.
- Conduct process audits product audits and line walks to verify adherence to procedures and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Process Engineering Supplier Quality and R&D teams to resolve quality issues and improve process capability (Cp/Cpk).
- Review and approve quality documentation including work instructions SOPs FMEA Control Plan and inspection records.
- Manage nonconforming material report (NCR) through MRB disposition risk assessment and containment actions.
- Support customer audits quality reviews and technical discussions; prepare reports and responses to customer inquiries.
- Participate in Lean Six Sigma and defect prevention initiatives to reduce cost of poor quality (COPQ).
- Ensure compliance with ESD contamination control cleanroom protocols and reliability requirements.
- Provide quality training and coaching to production and support teams to strengthen quality awareness and discipline.
- Participate in reliability testing failure analysis (FA) and qualification reviews to ensure product robustness.
- Maintain accurate quality records and ensure data integrity for traceability and audit readiness.
Education & Experience
- A bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Atleast 5 yrs experience in semiconductor industry
Skills

- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes (wafer fab assembly test packaging).
