Job Summary
Ohmstede Ltd is seeking a sanitation worker to perform general housekeeping duties in offices lunchroom restroom areas and shop production areas.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain acceptable appearance and cleanliness of front office / shop offices / breakrooms.
Clean sanitize and supply all facility restrooms in shop and front office.
Sweep shop floors.
Empty trash containers in the shop and front offices daily.
Clean front office kitchen counters microwave and fridge weekly.
Clean out shop breakroom microwave and fridge once a week.
Mow edge trim and water shop lawn. Pick up trash in the yard.
Assist all production departments in fulfilling housekeeping requirements.
Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner avoiding all unsafe practices.
Clean Glass doors and all windows weekly.
Empty office shredder twice a week (or as needed)
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge - H. S. diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of fab shop practices.
Skills Able to read and write the English language.
Physical Demands
Must be able to bend lift push/pull climb squat crawl reach overhead and lift 50 lbs.
Work Environment
Cold hot dusty dirty and noisy. Normal shop hazard exposure.
