Our staffalso regularlyinterfacewithand educate medical trainees including physician residents and fellows.
Dailypharmacistclinical services consist ofrobustbedsideroundingas part ofa multidisciplinary teamidentificationand interventionof drug-relatedissues provision of recommendationsonoptimization ofpatient-specificdrug therapyadmission and discharge medication reconciliation transition of care planningroutine use ofexpansivecollaborative practice agreementsresponse to medical emergencies including cardiac arrest and mass casualty eventsanddirect patientcareon a rotating aninstitutionvaluing education preceptorshipand in scholarly activities including quality initiatives and multidisciplinary researchisencouragedand supported throughextensiveinstitutionalanddepartmentalresources.
Theposition will berotating days &evenings withweekend shiftsin Central Pharmacyevery3rdweekend.

Qualifications
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Experience and/or interest in teaching and/or precepting preferred. Commitment to excellence accuracy attention to detail and teamwork required. Ability to communicate effectively work collaboratively with others organizes time well practice with an agile mindset solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision required.
Preferred: PreviousexperiencedesiredincludesPGY2residencyor fellowshiptraining incritical careand/orPGY1 residency plus3 years incardiovascular surgerypractice or minimum of 5 years ofcardiovascular Certification inCritical Care(BCCCP)isstronglypreferredwithin 1 year of hire if not already is based on experience and training.
License/Certification: Current pharmacist license by the Board of Pharmacy in the state(s) of the jobs practice site or eligible to obtain within a time frame compliant with the sites applicable employee licensure policy. May not independently fulfill responsibilities reserved only to a pharmacist until license is obtained.
