As a Security Officer - Night Patrol Driver in Ventura CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents assist staff and visitors with customer-focused service and communicate observations promptly. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff patients visitors and/or vendors while carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of buildings corridors parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance access control and/or policy issues.
• Monitor entry points and public areas for unauthorized access suspicious behavior and/or disruptions and assist with visitor direction access protocols and de-escalation when appropriate.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of daily activities incidents observations and/or unusual conditions and communicate pertinent information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 years of security experience.
• A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Customer Service Experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
