Job Title: Data Automation Clerk

Primary Duties:

  • Greet customers at office provide immediate assistance and direct them to appropriate staff or the Customer Resource Center.

  • Answer the main phone line within three rings provide service class and registration information and route calls as needed.

  • Ensure customers sign in for computer use and provide orientations for Customer Resource Center users and workshop participants.

  • Perform data entry and maintain workshop schedules using AFFIRST and other designated Department of Defense databases; create usage reports using Microsoft Excel.

  • Assist customers with computer use perform minor troubleshooting of equipment and coordinate with the Creech Communication Help Desk when required.

  • Maintain and catalog library resources in AFFIRST track equipment/material check-in and check-out and follow up on overdue items.

  • Keep the Customer Resource Center organized; update brochures bulletin boards marketing materials and prepare class documents and materials.

  • Support classroom setup and breakdown develop and distribute monthly event calendars and marketing materials manage mail distribution and assist with kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications.

Must have:

  • Minimum of high school diploma.

  • Minimum of at least one year of related experience in a customer service environment.

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite including Word PowerPoint Excel and Publisher.

  • Knowledge of correct grammar spelling punctuation capitalization and format to accurately prepare and edit written correspondence and reports.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing using tact and courtesy.

  • Must be able to read write speak and understand English.

  • The ability to become proficient in the Air Force Family Integrated Results and Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST) database. The Government will provide access and training for any specialized government systems.
