Job Title: ER Technologist (Emergency Room Tech)

Position Summary The ER Technologist supports the emergency department clinical team by assisting with patient care procedures and departmental operations in a fast-paced environment. This role requires flexibility strong clinical support skills and the ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities -
Assist nurses and providers with emergency patient care and procedures

Prepare rooms equipment and supplies for patient treatment
-
Support patient transport and throughput within the department
-
Perform basic clinical tasks within scope including vital signs and patient monitoring
-
Maintain a clean organized and safe care environment
-
Document care and tasks accurately using the electronic medical record
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow
Schedule -
40 scheduled hours per week

Rotational shifts (combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts)

Must be able to work consecutive weekends as needed

Holiday coverage required
Requirements -
Active state license/certification as required for ER Technologist role

Minimum 4 years of relevant emergency department experience
-
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
-
EMR experience required
Preferred Certifications Additional Information -
Holiday pay applies only if the shift begins on the holiday

Scheduling is based on department needs

Orientation and unit training provided
