The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business building client relationships and promoting products and services. This role requires strong networking abilities effective communication skills and a proactive approach to meeting sales goals. The ideal candidate is self-motivated organized and confident in cold-calling and closing sales.
Develop and maintain knowledge of products and services
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and cold calling
Contact new and existing customers to assess needs and recommend solutions
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
Negotiate pricing and terms; prepare sales agreements
Maintain accurate records of sales activities contracts invoices and customer interactions
Submit daily/weekly sales reports and updates to management
Maintain ongoing relationships with customers to promote repeat business and new offerings
Assist customers with payments refunds and service inquiries as needed
Meet or exceed sales targets set by leadership
Represent the organization at industry expos and conventions including setup and breakdown of promotional materials
Safely operate vehicles as required and maintain a clean driving record
Comply with all policies safety standards and procedures
Perform additional duties as assigned
High school diploma or GED preferred
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to cold call and generate new business
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Organized with strong time management abilities
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Proficient with computers and standard office equipment
Professional presentation and communication skills
Ability to analyze situations and problem solve
Must be fluent in English
Ability to sit stand walk bend lift and reach as needed. Role may require extended periods on feet travel between locations and lifting promotional materials or equipment.
Work may be performed in office settings field environments (customer meetings expos conventions) and shop or industrial environments that may include varying temperatures and noise levels. Proper safety equipment must be worn when required.
Full-time MondayFriday. Position may be salaried or hourly. Benefits may include health insurance dental insurance and paid time off (waiting period may apply).
