Learn more: As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location you will perform routine vehicle patrols and visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents observe and report unusual activity and support visitors and staff with clear communication and customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter fencing to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for visitors vendors and employees according to post orders directing individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate parties per protocol.
• Complete routine reporting such as shift logs incident reports and patrol documentation and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
