Description:
We are seeking an experienced Software/Server Administrator to provide enterprise-level operations maintenance and administration of monitoring logging and automation platforms supporting large-scale IT and data center environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability performance security and compliance of critical monitoring and visualization systems used across regional and global infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and administer enterprise environmental logging infrastructure including NetFlow/sFlow collection tools performing scaling and configuration as required.
  • Maintain multi-region monitoring infrastructure using Nagios ensuring high availability across regional and global instances.
  • Perform patching and upgrades of enterprise applications to address security vulnerabilities bug fixes and feature enhancements in accordance with our customerpolicies.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting to resolve mission-impacting issues and restore system functionality.
  • Support alert tuning and optimization including assisting with new alerts and reducing false positives to improve system health visibility.
  • Maintain and support enterprise Splunk visualization infrastructure including dashboards and analytics platforms.
  • Develop operate and maintain custom customer-driven dashboard suites providing insight into:
    • Security Events
    • STE/STN Compliance
    • High-Performance Computing (HPC) Operations
    • System and Network Utilization
    • Outage Tracking
    • Mission-specific metrics and reporting
  • Provide implementation configuration testing and administrative support for enterprise tools including:
    • HP Network Node Manager (HPNNi)
    • HP Network Automation (HPNA)
    • NetFlow/sFlow
    • Nagios
    • Splunk Enterprise
    • Syslog
    • Cribl
    • Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) enterprise management tools
  • Maintain and apply software patches and upgrades for all supported platforms in compliance with security policies.
  • Provide 5x9 Tier-3 Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and Call-In Support for supported COTS platforms.
  • Provide Tier-4 support including coordination with vendor engineering teams and FOSS support communities.
  • Assist users with software installation usage best practices and development standards.
  • Provide software engineering and technical consulting support for specialized enterprise environments.
  • Develop and maintain installation configuration and compliance automation scripts for COTS and GOTS applications.
  • Advise architects and security accreditors on security configurations compliance posture and capabilities of deployed enterprise tools.
  • Track incidents requests and operational metrics using approved enterprise ticketing systems.
  • Ensure Splunk dashboards and logging infrastructure maintain at least 93% monthly operational availability.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong experience administering enterprise monitoring logging and automation platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Splunk Enterprise Nagios NetFlow/sFlow and Syslog.
  • Experience supporting Tier-3 and Tier-4 operations in mission-critical environments.
  • Experience with patch management system upgrades and compliance-driven environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting for automation and compliance (e.g. Python Bash PowerShell).
  • Experience working with enterprise ticketing systems and SLA-driven operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale or multi-region data center environments.
  • Experience with HP Network Node Manager (HPNNi) and HP Network Automation (HPNA).
  • Experience with Cribl and log pipeline optimization.
  • Familiarity with STE/STN compliance frameworks.
  • Experience working in classified or highly regulated environments.
Due to federal contract requirements United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with customer appropriate polygraph).

Annual Compensation Figures listed for this position serve as a general guideline and are not a guarantee of compensation. Compensation will vary dependent upon factors including but not limited to: Government contract rates; education; relevant prior work experience knowledge skills and competencies; certifications and geographic location.
